2023-2024 District Governor’s Message
It is a great honor for me to be selected as the 2023-2024 annual District Governor of the Y’Men International Hong Kong District. I would like to thank everyone for their trust and support.
Y’ Men International has a history of more than 100 years and has been in Hong Kong for more than 90 years. The seniors of the Y’Men International in Hong Kong are all elites.
Although their concepts and practices are different, they each have their own strengths and have made achievements. Zhuyu is ahead, and there is a long way to go.
I will work with my director team to serve the community with pragmatic services, efforts to increase staff, and solidarity to inherit the spirit of Y’Men International. Y’Men International Hong Kong region to do more social welfare affairs, benefiting more people. Let our love spread, move more people to join our service, let more people know the International Youth Club, and let the disadvantaged groups get greater help.
Thank you for your support and trust, and thank you for giving me and my team an extra seat on the road of life. I firmly believe that with the joint efforts of my team, we will definitely achieve great results. Thank you again and I wish you all good health! Happy family!

What is Y’s Men International (YMI)
YMI Founded in Toledo, Ohio, USA in 1922 to support a local YMCA, Y’s Men International is now oriented to serving the worldwide YMCA, the largest non-governmental youth organisation, and through it the communities in which it is present throughout the world. Since the YMCA is usually known as “the Y” in the USA, and as the Y’s Men movement started there as a club of “men of and for the Y”, it was named the “Y’s Men’s Club”.
Judge Paul William Alexander was the founder of the first club together with a group of other young men in 1920. Like the YMI movement in the world. Y’s men club of Hong Kong was founded in 1932 and since then Y’s movement and Hong Kong District was formed in 1950s.
